The end of July brought with it AIDS Walk San Francisco which provided benefit to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and HIV/AIDS programs and services throughout the Bay Area.
Nelson’s Senior Vice President, Jeff Phelps walked with his Team Mimosa and raised almost $3,000! Jeff has been walking to support AIDS prevention and care since back in the ’80s. With the help of Gary and Marcia Nelson, Craig Nelson, Kay Ring, John Nerstad, Lisa Crossett, and Paul Lloyd, the team as a whole raised almost $15,000!
Team Mimosa made lots of friends by passing out mimosas along the way.
Through education, advocacy, and direct services for prevention and care, San Francisco AIDS Foundation has been confronting HIV in communities most vulnerable to the disease since 1982.
Funds raised by AIDS Walk San Francisco enable San Francisco AIDS Foundation to provide services that improve the quality of life for thousands of people living with HIV/AIDS and focus prevention efforts on those at greatest risk of contracting the disease.
Thank you to Team Mimosa and donors and all of your generous support and participation.
Oh, and the mimosas!
