Nelson VP of Marketing, Christina Russo, Named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2016 Millennials in Staffing List
Russo Recognized as one of the Top 35 Influential Millennials in Staffing
Staffing Industry Analysts has named Nelson’s Christina Russo to their 2016 Millennials in Staffing List recognizing the outstanding contributions Millennials have made in the field of staffing and recruiting. The list, selected through industry-based nominations and sponsored by Monster, was created to recognize a group that is shaping the future of the American economy.
“I am privileged to be included in this year’s Millennials in Staffing List,” said Russo. “Using the latest tech advancements to connect people to not just a job but to a career is a driving force in my own career. Being recognized amongst other influential, young industry professionals on the rise is a tremendous honor.”
Throughout the majority of her career in the rapidly evolving world of human resources technology, Russo has risen rapidly through the ranks of the staffing world. She joined Nelson in 2015 as Vice President of Marketing and became the first Millennial to sit on the company’s executive leadership team. In a very short time, she has made a tremendous impact at the company, focusing on increasing the company’s marketing investment ROI by implementing effective new marketing programs, processes, and initiatives.
Russo has dedicated her professional efforts to infusing traditional workforce and staffing business models with modern technology to drive profits and enhance experiences. She has been a driving force behind technology adoption in every role she has held, implementing the first professional social presence of an internationally known accounting and finance staffing company. She most recently helped lead the growth of a disruptive outplacement solutions provider, where she focused on B2E marketing and educating both enterprises and displaced employees about the importance of a quality outplacement solution for talent acquisition and job search effectiveness.
Millennials rank as the largest living generation in the U.S., according to population estimates. They are now the largest segment of the US workforce, and they will be 75% of the US workforce by 2025.
“We believe millennials bring vital optimism, entrepreneurship and positive change to the next era of the American economy,” said Subadhra Sriram, publisher and editor at Staffing Industry Analysts. “Our goal is to provide a glimpse into this generation’s achievements as they pertain to the industry and the evolution of the ecosystem.”
