Nelson Helps a Friend in Need
An employee here at Nelson has been battling a very serious illness since October. To help out in times such as this, Nelson has a policy that allows employees to voluntarily donate vacation hours to a fellow employee who is unable to work. When the HR department reached out to everyone about donating vacation time or money to help with the bills, what came in was astonishing. In just two days, we raised over 600 hours of vacation time and donations of over $3,000. This caring gesture demonstrates how much people really support each other here at Nelson. This is another great way Nelson gives back to all of its employees, and is proud to be one strong community.
