Nelson Helps Oakland A’s Raise Over $70,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness

As the A’s hosted their Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Nelson was there to support the fight. Breast Cancer is projected to affect over 298,000 people just this year. Through sales of special ticket packages, commemorative pins, hats and necklaces, autographed items and fan and support from sponsors like Nelson, a total of $70,635 was raised. The proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society to continue the fight against breast cancer. Pre-game ceremonies featured over 350 Bay Area breast cancer survivors on the field. This marks Nelson’s third straight year of sponsoring the event.

Watch the video below to see Nelson’s Executive Vice President Tony Bartenetti and Vice President of Nelson & Associates Joe Madigan help the A’s present the check!

Tony and Joe were there with their families and friends in full A’s gear for the special day and to root for their favorite Bay Area team.

Thank you to our Nelson team and the Oakland A’s for making this day possible!
