What was it? A dramatic bi-plane fly-by, wild jungle animals and throngs of guests in pith helmets and safari attire, African batiks and animal prints in Jack London State Park.

What for? La Luz, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting our Sonoma Valley neighbors, who contribute to the economic, cultural and social well being of our community. La Luz provides English language training, teaches computer skills, distributes food, hosts medical services, offers crisis counseling, and supports events that celebrate the richness of our multicultural community.

The results? A record-breaking $350,000 dedicated to the support of this group that is dedicated to their cause! Congratulations La Luz on your successful event!
