Nelson employees recently volunteered for The V Foundation’s 18th Annual Wine Celebration, August 4-7, 2016. The V Foundation devotes their efforts toward raising money to support cancer research and young physicians in their field. The annual, weekend-long fundraising event is held at at locations throughout the Napa area.

Hosted by Lesley Visser, the most highly acclaimed female sportscaster of all time, this year’s event featured guests Rudy Giuliani (former mayor of New York City) and Don Felder (Grammy-award-winning Eagles guitarist).

Nelson was proud to have employees from several offices represent us as volunteers at the event! From checking in guests to folding napkins, the Nelson team was happy to help with a variety of tasks to help the event run smoothly and fundraise successfully. Team Nelson volunteers also contributed $11,500.00 toward cancer research by selling raffle tickets during events where they volunteered.

Check soon for more stats and final fundraising totals.

Thanks to all the Nelson representatives (including Nancy Heine, who led the Nelson volunteer recruitment efforts!) who helped raise crucial funding for cancer research.
